Sue McMahon has 30 years’ experience working in the human service field. Sue currently is the Emergency Solutions Grant Program Administrator for the City of Syracuse which involves grant oversight, ensures HUD regulatory compliance and offers technical assistance to approximately 20 human service programs serving the homeless or housing vulnerable individuals and families in our community. Sue serves on the Advisory Board for The Salvation Army’s Pathway to Independence Program, Board member of the Emergency Food and Shelter Program, Secretary of the Advisory Committee for the Housing and Homeless Coalition, Co-Chair of the Mayors Task force to End the HIV Epidemic, Chair of the Housing Vulnerable Task force, Co-Chair of the Mayors Challenge to End Veteran Homelessness, a member of the Onondaga County Drug Task Force and Board member for the McMahon Ryan Child Advocacy Center from 2011-2017. Sue has worked for Liberty Resources Inc. where she managed HIV Services offering housing, mental health, substance use, employment and nutrition services to persons living with HIV and AIDS. She has also had the opportunity to manage senior housing programs and being a counselor and tutor for at risk youth. Although a Milwaukee native, Sue has lived in Syracuse for the past 38 years and is a graduate from the University of Wisconsin-Madison
