Kimberly is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over a decade of experience working with communities impacted by housing instability. She earned her MSW degree and began her career providing direct services to youth and families experiencing homelessness within LA County’s Department of Mental Health. There she was integral in developing and training on field-based trauma informed models for working with high barriers populations.
As the Senior Director of Housing Stabilization at LA Family Housing, Kimberly develops and oversees multiple Rapid Rehousing, Prevention, and Employment Programs and ensures a data driven approach to support households transitioning out of homelessness and into permanent housing within the Los Angeles Continuum of Care.
Kimberly’s practice in community clinics and in multiple systems of care has allowed her to develop a holistic clinical understanding of the impact of homelessness on diverse groups. She seeks to share this with organizations and communities across the country by providing technical assistance to systems seeking to improve housing stability.
