Skye O'Neal Adrian is a 23 year old pro-LGBTQ Policy Consultant, based in New York but Jamaican born and raised. Unfortunately, in 2015, due to his parents's in ability to care for him, Skye was forced into homelessness. He later that year discovered Ali Forney Center, where he reached both Crisis Shelter and Transitional Housing. He was also assigned a case manager and linked to a host of other social services. He capitalized on his experience and joined the AFC Advocacy Team where he ascertained training in Advocacy, Public Speaking, LGBTQ Research and Policy. Four years later, Skye sits as the Lead Organizer at FIERCE NYC, Chair and Policy Consultant on the New York Coalition on the Continuum of Care Youth Action Board, Consultant at Youth Collaboratory through the Youth Catalyst Team and serves as a Consultant with the National LGBTQ Research Team. In his spear time, he enjoys reading reports and novels, playing tennis and traveling.
