Riannon Bardsley, Statewide Initiatives Manager for the Office of Homeless Youth in Washington State, is currently supporting the states 23 most rural communities in their effort to end youth homelessness as part of a Housing and Urban Development (HUD) Youth Homelessness Demonstration Program grant. Riannon has more than two decades of experience working with young people and other vulnerable populations who are experiencing crisis, including 10 years as the Executive Director of Northwest Youth Services, which provides housing and services to young people experiencing homelessness. Additionally, Riannon and her wife have experience as foster parents. Supporting nine young people, and their families, for seven years before adopting two children who are now 13 and 15 years old.
