Hannah Maharrey is a native of Tupelo, Mississippi. She has a Bachelor’s degree in Journalism from the University of Mississippi. She served in the United States Peace Corps in Mongolia from 2009-2011. After her years of service and travelling she was a Peace Corps Fellow at the University of New Orleans where she obtained her Master’s Degree in Public Administration with an emphasis in Nonprofit Leadership. Hannah's present position is the director of the Mississippi Balance of State Continuum of Care. She has a passion for advocacy and outreach for our most vulnerable populations and is also involved in addressing poverty, food insecurity, and education and employment empowerment.
