Azia Ruff is an artist and community empowerment facilitator raised and located in Seattle, Washington. She is currently engaged in the National Forum on Youth Homelessness and A Way Home America as member of their steering committee and faculty staff for the Grand Challenges initiative. At home she works with YHDP as a King County Youth Action Board member and is on an intra-sector team to reconstitute the public homelessness response infrastructure in Seattle and King County. With a background in communications, community organizing and systems change at the local, state and national levels, she leverages her lived experiences through complex systems and relationships with the community to co-create a sound, just and safe home for her neighbors near and far.
