Erika Ruiz serves as a Director with Enterprise Advisors, Enterprise’s consulting division. In this role, she plans, designs, and leads the execution of direct technical assistance and needs assessments to municipal and state agencies, public housing authorities, and nonprofit organizations and manages a team of subject matter experts to achieve and document measurable outcomes. Ms. Ruiz spearheads Enterprise Advisors’ Public Housing consulting initiatives including activities related to the Rental Assistance Demonstration Program (RAD), Moving to (MTW), Choice Neighborhoods Initiative (CNI) and ConnectHome, community and resident engagement, organizational re-visioning and various other program and operational areas. Ms. Ruiz has also led Capacity Building and grant making activities in Puerto Rico developing materials and conducting trainings in Spanish. She currently leads the Puerto Rico & US Virgin Islands technical assistance and strategy development for Enterprise. Ms. Ruiz has a breadth of experience in various other affordable housing areas including research, program development, communications, technical assistance, consulting, financial underwriting, and financial structuring. Ms. Ruiz holds a bachelor’s in sociology and master’s degree in public administration from Cornell University.
