Rory Weal is a Senior Policy and Public Affairs Officer at St Mungo's, a UK homelessness charity and housing association based in London. St Mungo's provides a bed and support to more than 2,800 people a night who are either homeless or at risk. Rory's team influence and campaign nationally to change policy and help people to rebuild their lives.
Rory has previously worked in the House of Commons for a Member of Parliament on rural policy, as well as for a mental health charity. He has been awarded a Winston Churchill Memorial Trust Travelling Fellowship to research responses to homelessness in rural communities across the USA, which is what brings him to D.C. this summer for the NAEH conference.
