Dr. Wishik worked as an outreach worker in syringe exchange after college. He studied public health and obtained his medical degree from Tulane University. After residency, he joined Boston Healthcare for the Homeless Program in 2010, where he continues to practice. His clinical interests include homeless medicine, addiction medicine, harm reduction, transgender care, and the care of individuals with criminal justice involvement. Among his current projects, he collaborates with the local syringe exchange program to perform paired outreach to Boston residents at highest risk of overdose.
