Heather Zaveri, a senior researcher at Mathematica Inc., studies programs and policies to strengthen families and prevent adolescent pregnancy. Her research interests focus on program implementation and economic evaluation. Ms. Zaveri directs the Parents and Children Together evaluation, a large-scale, multicomponent project intended to broaden the public’s understanding of responsible fatherhood and healthy marriage programs. For PACT, she led the implementation study examining program design and operations in four responsible fatherhood and two healthy marriage programs. She also leads efforts to develop conceptual models for adulthood preparation for the Personal Responsibility Education Program and to develop sexual health curricula for underserved populations.
