Liz Schoenfeld earned her Ph.D. in Human Development & Family Sciences from The University of Texas at Austin and has spent the last decade conducting applied research and program evaluations in the areas of behavioral health, housing, workforce development, and evidence-based programming. She is the Chief Research & Evaluation Officer at LifeWorks, a large nonprofit in Austin, TX, that serves transition-age youth. She oversaw the local evaluation for the Youth Homelessness Demonstration Program in Austin, and her work has been published in numerous peer-reviewed journals and featured in outlets such as U.S. News & World Report, Psychology Today, and the documentary, Failing Forward: On the Road to Social Impact. In all her work, Dr. Schoenfeld is passionate about partnering with individuals with lived expertise to challenge the status quo and create innovative, value-based solutions.
