Bio

Friend to the homeless. Unconventional thinker. Data and Statistics nerd. A listener to all ideas and passionate supporter of his own. A thorn in the side of many State agencies. Ledger Parker serves as Executive Director for Mississippi United to End Homelessness (MUTEH). He began his career at MUTEH in 2010 as HMIS coordinator and quickly rose in the ranks to become Program Director in 2011, overseeing programs in MUTEH’s statewide coverage area. Parker became Executive Director in 2016 and has grown the organization from a small nonprofit of 3 employees to an ever-expanding team of 40, administering public and private grants to aid those in need. Additionally, Parker and his team have implemented data systems throughout the state to offer a more strategic and efficient approach to homeless service provision in MS. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in English.  In his spare time, he attends law school at Mississippi College School of Law and is pursuing a Masters in Public Administration at the University of Louisiana Monroe. And, along with his wife, is raising 3 young sons.
