Bio
Kevin Martone, LSW, is Executive Director at the Technical Assistance Collaborative (TAC) in Boston, Massachusetts, a national, non-profit consulting firm. Kevin is recognized as an expert on behavioral health policy and system design, Olmstead and community integration, and permanent supportive housing. Prior to joining TAC, Kevin served as Deputy Commissioner for the New Jersey Department of Human Services. In his role, he had executive oversight of the New Jersey Division of Mental Health and Addiction Services and was responsible for coordinating the public behavioral health system, including administration of 5 state psychiatric hospitals. On a national level, Kevin is currently on the board of the National Association for Rural Mental Health. He is also past president for the National Association of State Mental Health Program Directors (NASMHPD) where he helped represent the interests of the 50 states and territorial public mental health systems before the executive and legislative branches of the federal and state government. Previously, Kevin was President/CEO for Advance Housing, a non-profit supportive housing provider, and Vice President for the Supportive Housing Association (SHA) of New Jersey. He also taught at Tufts University School of Medicine and the Rutgers University Graduate School of Social Work.
