Angela Patterson is the Deputy Director for UNITY of Greater New Orleans. She has served as Director of UNITY Welcome Home street outreach program for the past seventeen years. During that time Angela has worked tirelessly for the housing needs of vulnerable unsheltered homeless persons, who are living on the streets, or in uninhabitable living conditions in the Greater New Orleans area. She has a Masters Degree in Social Work from Tulane University; a Masters in Pastoral Studies from Loyola University and has completed the academic work towards a Masters in Theology at Xavier University in New Orleans. At the present time Angela is directly supervising 5 persons in the UNITY’s outreach program; the Director of UNITY’s Coordinated Entry; the Manager of the largest Permanent Supportive Housing Program in the United States, 1 person in Housing Location and Specialization, in addition to other staff persons.
