Emma W. Hertz, MPA, has spent over ten years working in the nonprofit and public sectors to end homelessness, increase access to affordable housing, and support community reinvestment. As the Administrator of the Montgomery County, PA Office of Housing and Community Development, Emma oversees the lead public agency for Montgomery County’s public-private partnership to end homelessness, Your Way Home, as well as grant programs for affordable housing development and community revitalization. Prior to her current position, Emma has served as the Your Way Home Senior Manager, HMIS administrator, and a Rapid Re-housing case manager. Emma has a Bachelor’s Degree in Spanish from Bates College and a Master’s Degree in Public Administration from Villanova University. When she’s not working to end homelessness, Emma enjoys hiking and baking Moana cupcakes with her two young daughters and soulmate/ husband.
